Old and new.
Three of our trustees visited both the new and old sites of Nekacheya School in Livingstone today. It was a pleasure to see Grades 4 – 7 in the new classrooms at the new site, as well as the ablution block and water systems that we helped complete. A tour of the fruit and vegetables that have been planted on land that is yet to be built on was also very encouraging. They later visited the original site to see how the pre-schoolers and Grades 1 – 3 were getting on. It also afforded John the opportunity to visit his old classroom where he spent a total of five months volunteer teaching.
