This afternoon we had fantastic video link up between Linda Community School in Livingstone and Cramlington Village Primary School in Northumberland, England. They have enjoyed a relationship that we established for several years. This has featured a regular letter exchange, and letters from Cramlington recently arrived with our trustees. They also brought with them multiple copies of Roald Dahl’s ‘Matilda’ that were purchased with the proceeds of a fundraiser Cramlington held on World Book Day in March. The video link involved the children asking and answering some great questions, some thought through in advance and some on the spot. Cramlington introduced their class pet and Linda did a bit of wonderful singing!
