Video link between Linda Community School and Dr Thomlinson C of E Middle School in Rothbury.

This afternoon we had an outdoor (in Zambia!) video link between Dr Thomlinson C of E Middle School in Rothbury, Northumberland and Linda Community School in Livingstone. Dr Thomlinson’s held a fundraising walk a few years ago that was a real help as we began building the school. The schools have enjoyed a letter exchange ever since and we have been glad to get it going again after a gap caused by Covid interrupting communications. The children learnt about other ways Covid (and climate change) had affected their schools, as well as personal interests, differing animals, language skills and what football teams were supported (with a number of teams in Linda, and just one in Rothbury!). We look forward to developing this link in the future.
