Volunteer takes donations to Zambia

Here’s a big shout out to Alex Clarkson, who has recently headed back to Zambia – with 23 kilos of Zambezi Sunrise donations! Alex, from Australia, has been volunteering as a teacher in Zambia in early 2018 and has been a huge help to us in her spare time. She has helped with Homework Club, Tiyesa Craft Club and Linda Community School. Last week she had to be in the U.K., met our trustee Joanne in London and took back over 140 books and a dozen pairs of children’s shoes for us (as well as her own donations). Alex is the fourth volunteer to take items to Zambia for us from the U.K. Thanks for donating your spare luggage space to us Alex!
