Water!!! Today marked another bit of teamwork with our friends at True Thabo, an American non-profit organisation dedicated to providing pure water to Zambian schools. Last year we provided half the funds to jointly provide a purifier system to Simoonga, a rural school outside Livingstone. Today we again jointly presented a system for our new classroom site at Linda Community School, as well as the system that True Thabo provided for the old site earlier this month. Headteacher Cathy received them from Laura Eppinga and May Colindres (who brought the latest one with her to Zambia) on behalf of True Thabo and our trustees Joanne and John on behalf of Zambezi Sunrise. As well as helping prevent a plethora of diseases, everyone says the water from the systems tastes better than from the existing standpipe!
