Today saw the commencement of work on the new ablution block at Linda Community School. As well as Harry Simakumba and his team of builders, we were assisted by Dream Livingstone allocating a group of IVHQ volunteers to help. Breaking ground and digging the foundation trenches on an extremely hot day was really hard work and we are very grateful to them. Our thanks go to Benjamin Bugueno (Chile), Christian Meagher (Australia), Michelle Mc Hugh (Ireland), Tanisha Krupke (South Africa), Isis Castro (Mexico) and Taylor Smith-Tohu (New Zealand). A very cosmopolitan workforce helped us accelerate the project before the advent of the rains. Thanks everyone!!!
